Satori Productions LLC Presents:

LISA REAGAN IN CONCERT

For one night only – soprano Lisa Reagan will dazzle with her live in-concert performance of WHAT WE NEED IS HERE – her new album interpreting the musical spirit and heart of her favorite classic poems.

For the live presentation she will be accompanied by some of the finest, most notable musicians on Broadway. The show features a 20-piece ensemble led by Tony-winning and Grammy-nominated producer Jamshied Sharifi on piano, renowned Celtic multi-instrumentalist Séamus Egan, guitarist  Marc Copely (Shucked, The Notebook), drummer/percussionist Philip Mayer (The Band’s Visit), harpist Kirsten Agresta Copely, bassist Richard Hammond (Hamilton), master of ethnic woodwinds Inna Dudukina, and the impeccable vocals of Nicki Richards and Everett Bradley (Stomp).

The WHAT WE NEED IS HERE program consists of Lisa’s compositions set to the words of Wordsworth, Shakespeare, Berry, Frost, Yeats and Keats. Lisa calls the album, “a project of the heart.” After receiving permission from Wendell Berry, she titled the album after a line from “The Wild Geese.” “I was fortunate to be able to hand the songs to Jamshied for the orchestral arrangements and production. He is not only a brilliant musician, but he also felt the same obligation that I did to honor the poets and their muses.”

Americana Highways said, “the entire enterprise is mesmerizing,” and New Music Alert added, “The songs are worth listening to a thousand times and more for their ability to engage in intimate conversations with the human heart and soul.”
